The US Government is running amuck! God Help Us!
"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it." Adrian Rogers, 1931 |
I am just a rural American kind of guy. I grew up with guns, working hard, good people and believing in America and the "American Dream".I have three brothers still working on farms in South Dakota. They have worked hard to take care of their families and have provided grain and meat for other American's tables. The environment today has literally destroyed them and so many others in rural America. They still keep the faith, they still work the farms and ranches. I hear nothing on TV or Radio, addressing the plight of the folks in the American Heartland. Only how we should bail out large companies in the east....and the financial institutions? I personally am worried. If the politicians and powers that be ruin our dollar, where is the food going to come from to feed all those people on the east and west coasts? Rural America has steadily lost its young people. So few remain who still know how to raise a crop, shear a sheep, or fatten cattle. America, be aware....don't kill the "Heartland".
