Big Boys Lifestyle - Stories from members of the Sturgis Jack Pine Gypsies Motorcycle Club
I grew up in Newell SD, 25 miles from Sturgis, home of the world famous Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Races and home of the Jack Pine Gypsies Motorcycle Club.
My father owned a service station in Newell (population 1000) as well as a farm just outside of Newell where I grew up.
Dad has always had motorcycles, and even today at 81, he is riding his Honda Goldwing.
His last long trip with my mother as passenger was at age 75. Mother no longer rides with dad. (Can't understand why).
As a kid growing up with four brothers, I still remember dad putting three of us on an Indian motorcycle and going up the main street of Newell.
I know that dad would like to have the Indian today.
Dad was a member of the Jack Pine Gypsies Motorcycle Club.
The picture here of the cap and emblem is his.
